Water pipe manufacturer and construction company Indian Hume Pipe Co said it has won a Rs 578.50 cr order from the Madhya Pradesh government.
The order was from Madhya Pradesh Jal Nigam Maryadit for Kundaliya Multi Village Rural water supply scheme in Rajgarh district, it added.
This is the second major order the company reported this week.
On Tuesday, the company had said it was awarded a work order worth ₹108.19 crore from Narmada Water Resources, Water Supply & Kalpsar Department, Gujarat.
Indian Hume Pipe Company is focused on construction and maintenance of projects related to water supply and sewerage systems, as well as in pipe manufacturing.
It makes various types of industrial pipes such as prestressed concrete cylinder pipes, bar wrapped steel cylinder pipes, Hume Steel pipes, and welded steel penstocks.
The company has a network of over twenty factories and over 100 projects under execution in India.
Besides pipes, the company is also engaged in the manufacturing of concrete sleepers for the Indian Railways.
It has also executed projects in neighboring countries like Nepal, Srilanka, Burma, Malaysia and Republic of Iraq.
