Larsen & Toubro wins hydrocarbon orders worth Rs 1,600 cr

Construction major Larsen & Toubro reported new orders worth more than ₹1600 cr from the hydrocarbon segment.

The Onshore Projects business of the company’s hydrocarbon unit secured a contract for the design, supply, and construction of a large LNG Tank facility in the east coast of India.

The business also secured additional work from existing projects under execution in Saudi Arabia & Kuwait.

Meanwhile, the construction services business of the hydrocarbon unit secured an order “from a prestigious client” for a new Coal Bed Methane facility in the central region of India.

Larsen & Toubro is an Indian multinational engaged in technology, engineering, construction, manufacturing and financial services with over USD 17 Billion in revenue.

Headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra, the company was founded by two Danish engineers taking refuge in India in 1938.
