NCC receives orders worth Rs 4,619 crore in March

NCC Limited, formerly known as Nagarjuna Construction Co, said it received nine orders worth Rs 4,619 crore in the month of March.

The company had won orders worth Rs 4,088 crore in February and Rs 4,090 crore in January.

Of its March orders, three orders worth Rs 1,802 crore were received in the buildings division, four orders worth Rs 802 crore in electrical division, one order totalling up to Rs 1,631 crore in the irrigation division and one order worth Rs 384 crore in the water and environment division.

The orders have been received from central and state government agencies and do not include any internal orders, NCC said in a statement.

NCC, established in 1978, is one among the top three construction companies in India in terms of revenue.

It has operations in segments like buildings, water, roads, irrigation, power, electrical, railways and mining.

The Hyderabad-based company also has operations in the Middle East where it undertakes works in roads, buildings, and water segments.
