Intex Aqua T5, cheapest 3G-enabled Android KitKat phone in India

After the resounding success of its Intex Aqua Star 4X, the company has launched yet another entry-level 3G-enabled Android KitKat phone, the Aqua T5, priced at just Rs 3,000.

Intex-Aqua-T5

The phone is the cheapest Android KitKat phone with 3G in India, but unlike its previous launches, this time, Intex has gone with just 256 MB of RAM and just half a GB of internal memory.

As a result, we are not sure if this would be a great buy. But if the idea is only to make calls and use it for messaging (SMS), the phone may work.

It comes with a 3.5-inch, HVGA display and a 1.4 Ah battery that should give it plenty of battery life on a single charge.

The Intex Aqua T5 also comes with a 2 MP camera at the back, a VGA camera on the front and Bluetooth. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor. It will compete with similar phones from other Indian brands and with the Panasonic T9, priced at Rs 3,990.
