Brigade Group, one of the leading developers of South India, saw 27 of their flats booked online as part of the Great Online Homes Festival (GOHF) organised by Magicbricks, GroupM and Google.

GOHF, the ten daylong festival from 18-27th July 2015, is the largest property festival till date in India.

With properties worth Rs. 3000 crore and participation from more than 110 developers, GOHF is the biggest platform for the online property buyer, the classifieds firm said.

“The ten day long online property festival has received tremendous response from the customers,” Magicbricks said.

Brigade Apartments across their flagship projects in Whitefield, the integrated enclave in Devanahalli and their new launch on Mysore road saw interest, the main organizer said.

“It is heartening to see such a good response from customers for GOHF. Interestingly, with the opening of this festival, a sudden spur of customer demand is seen primarily fuelled by pan-India demand. This is a very good sign for the Indian real estate market,” said Sudhir Pai, CEO, Magicbricks.

The Indian real estate market is in the middle of a slow-down that threatens to turn into a correction, according to analysts.

“We are very excited to participate in GOHF organized by the leading player Magicbricks and are thrilled that we are receiving a phenomenal response to projects listed on the site,” said Om Ahuja, CEO Residential, Brigade Group.

“While we have been actively selling online since 2014, our own online booking platform saw booking worth Rs.50 Cr in the last financial year alone. We are looking forward to the response at the end of the event and will have some great numbers to share.”

As part of GOHF, customers can benefit from various discounts and offers in projects across India which otherwise are not available on a single platform.
