Automotive wheel maker Steel Strips Wheels said it won a contract to supply 6,000 truck wheels to a European customer for use on trailers.
“Steel Strips Wheels has already marked its entry into the high potential truck and trailer market in EU and aims to strengthen it in the future,” it said.
The wheels have to be supplied over a period of one year starting next month, the company said.
It also said it is in talks with prospective customers.
“SSWL is in an advanced stage of discussions to finalize long term contracts with multiple European customers and expects to close them by early next year,” it said.
The company manufactures automotive steel wheels since 1991, and offers wheels for cars, trucks and other vehicles.
