Anna’s fast shifted to Raj Ghat

Anna Hazare and his Janlokpal movement have shifted the venue of tomorrow’s fast to Raj Ghat

Under the current Section 144 order, only New Delhi district — about a fifth of Delhi’s size — has been prohibited for holding assembly or dharna.

“Our intention is not to force a confrontation with the Police.. So we are shifting it near Raj Ghat, from 10 am to 6 pm,” Arvind Kejriwal said.

There will also be a debate at 5 pm, in addition to bhajans and prayers from 10 am to 6 pm.

Kejriwal also pointed out that Kapil Sibal was trying to make an issue and provoke them into leaving the Committee. “We are not going to leave you so easily,” he said.

“It was a huge misinformation that we have boycotted the Committee,” said Kiran Bedi, another leader.
