German trustee of Mumbai school sexually abuses kindergarten kids

A trustee of a prominent international school in Andheri in Mumbai has been booked for sexually exploiting kids studying in kindergarten in the school.

An awareness poster by Indian police

According to the complaint filed in MIDC police station in Mumbai, a teacher used to take two kids — both aged three — to the trustee’s office during breaks.

The incident came to light when the mother of one of the two kids, a girl, noticed bruises on the private parts of the girl.

When asked how she got the bruises, the kid apparently said that a ‘boy teacher’ did it to her.

The child was taken to an NGO, who helped the couple file the police case.

The incidents took place in January and February of this year, according to Mumbai Police.

The news has come out when the trustee is outside India, on tour with students. It is not clear whether the person will return to India due to the news about a case being registered against him. The complaint was filed last month.

The name of the school cannot be revealed as the law in India prevents media from revealing any information that may lead to the revelation of the victims’ names.

Besides the girl, a three-year-old boy was also similarly exploited, the police complaint says.

This is not the first incident of foreigners exploiting children in India.
