Ford EcoSport the star of February auto sales so far, Honda awaited

With Honda yet to report its car sales numbers for February, it was clearly Ford which led the industry in terms of sales growth during the month.

Tata Motors, on the other hand, was the worst hit, with sales falling 35%.

Powered by the EcoSports, which was launched late last last year, Ford reported a 69% increase in shipments in India. Exports of Ford cars from India doubled.

It must be noted that Honda has also been having blazing sales due to the launch of its new City sedan, with January sales being nearly three times the number reported a year ago.
