“AirAsia is continuously looking into making the booking experience as smooth and fast as possible for guests,” the company said.

AirAsia has been largely quiet in the war for market share in the Indian aviation market. The most aggressive player, SpiceJet, has been bringing out one sale after another for the last 1.5 years.

AirAsia, which has a reputation for providing affordable air travel, however has been circumpsect about its strategy so far in India.

The current offer is one of the biggest by the company since entering India about two years ago.

Tickets can be booked on the company’s website airasia.com. As of writing this, the website is pretty slow, possibly due to the huge traffic volume brought on by the discount offer.
