Lava offers free screen replacement guarantee for one year

lavaLava International Limited, an Indian multi-national company in the mobile handset industry, said anyone purchasing a feature phone or smartphone from the company from 15th September to 15th November the customers will be entitled to avail a one-time mobile screen replacement.

The offer is applicable only in case of any mobile screen breakage within 365 days from the date of purchase, for purchases made during the offer period. Normally, breakages are not covered under warranty.

“ We recognize that people spend considerable amount of money to buy mobile phones, and are always concerned about high screen replacement costs in case of accidental damage. This offer will give our consumers some peace of mind and will enable them to fully utilize their devices’ potential,” said Navin Chawla, Chief Operating Officer, Lava International Limited.

In case of mobile screen breakage, customers need to visit any Lava authorized service centre in person to avail this offer.

Customers must possess original proof of purchase, identity proof and a valid contact number. For availing replacement of mobile screen under this offer, customers need to pay labor charges of Rs 250/- for smartphones and Rs.150/- for feature phones. The offer is not applicable on Laptops and Tablets.

The company clocked revenue of Rs. 7626 crores with a growth rate of 23% from previous year.

Lava has a retailer and service network of over 1,25,000 retailers and 950 service centers across the country and it delivers the quickest turn-around-times in the mobile handset industry to resolve customer service related cases, says the company.

Operating 31 regional warehouses across India, one in every state, the company does spare planning on a weekly basis for approximately 13500+ SKUs (Stock Keeping Units) to ensure a seamless customer service experience.

As part of ‘Make in India’ initiative , LAVA is working towards strengthening its product manufacturing in the country to cater to both domestic and international demand for its products.

The company is also steering the mobile phone design road map in India and is working towards establishing the very 1st mobile phone design center in India by end of 2017.

Lava has overseas operations in Thailand, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Indonesia, Mexico, Middle East and Russia.

Lava is the only Indian mobile handset brand that has an in-house R&D and product-testing set-up in China and India with over 700 people in product design and development, said the company.

Lava has already set up its first manufacturing plant in Noida and plans to invest INR 2615 crore in a phased manner to scale it up to have an annual production capacity of 216 million phones.
